A Must For Book Lovers
But You Need to Go Soon or Wait Until Next Year
Many Boston-area book lovers have fond memories of the Harvard Book Store’s periodic warehouse sales, which went on hiatus around Covid, and in recent years were on-line only.
Well, not only is the store holding its first in-person sale in ages but the warehouse is now in Needham, just over the Newton border, at 330 Reservoir Street (where most of my readers reside). The picture above is a portion of the poetry section; the picture below is of the four books I bought, all between 40% and 80% off:
The sale is well organized by categories; if you have young readers in your family, the children’s book section is particularly strong. This spring’s sale dates are Saturday, June 8 and Sunday, June 9, 2004 from 10 am to 7 pm. In other words, if you’re reading this the day I posted it, the sale is today and tomorrow! Should you be reading this post after June 9, be sure to visit the Harvard Book Store website and sign up for their newsletter so you don’t miss the next sale.
